I love these outrageous 'shops, possibly as most shots I take (and discard) are so blandly grey and nondescript. I was walking through Mitcham Common today and when I saw this scene I thought to myself 'I wonder if Ganching likes pylons as much as gasometers?'
But by the time I got home I realised I would have to work on the photo I had taken, and then somehow turned it into a Tripods/War of the Worlds piece of juvenalia...
I hope to take a witty photo one day, but until then I shall simply do things that make me giggle instead...
In other news my hard drive is failing...
